I'LL BE BORN IN SPRING THIS TIME

                                   ( to you, mom)

I’ll be born in spring

this time.

I’ll hand over my body

to your hug, mother

Full of love, I’ll come

to bless your life

with mine.

I’ll choose you again, mother,

to run over a green

cammomile field,

to swim wild waves

to kiss stars.

I’ll be born in spring

this time,

blessing your life

dancing to your joy

loving you ,  loving myself. 

NACERÉ ESTA VEZ EN PRIMAVERA

Mi madre en los acantilados de San Esteban de Pravia, Asturias, cuando cortejaba con mi padre

Naceré esta vez en primavera.

Entregaré mi cuerpo

a tu abrazo, madre.

Llena de amor vendré

a bendecir tu vida

con la mía.

Te escogeré de nuevo, madre,

para corretear  juntas un verde

prado de manzanilla,

para  nadar bravas olas

para  besar estrellas.

Naceré esta vez en primavera,

bendiciendo la vida,

bailando tu alegría,

amándote, amándome.
